कुछ करते करते में रुक गया
सोचता हूँ एक कविता लिखूं !
क्या लिखूं ये सूझता नहीं है, फ़िर भी
सोचता हूँ एक कविता लिखूं !
जानता हूँ हँसते हैं लोग मुझपर
मेरे इस दकियानूसी शौक़ पर, फ़िर भी
सोचता हूँ एक कविता लिखूं !
किसी के विचार, शब्दों की पोटली में
अच्छे नहीं लगते हैं, फ़िर भी
सोचता हूँ एक कविता लिखूं !
में जानता हूँ प्रिये! मेरे शौक़ से तुम भी
उलझनों में रहती हो, फ़िर भी
सोचता हूँ एक कविता लिखूं !
में पुराना हूँ, तुम समय के सारथी
में अपनी बातें ही दोहराता हूँ, फ़िर भी
सोचता हूँ एक कविता लिखूं !!
